Got questions about Foremarke3 ? See if we have answered them here . . . If not then please contact us.
Foremarke 3 starts on the afternoon of Saturday 6th August and finishes at lunchtime on Saturday 13th August 2022.
Foremarke 3 costs £299, but we don’t want anyone to miss out because money’s a problem. So if you (or your parent(s)) would struggle to come up with that kind of money, there is financial help available - please just ask by contacting the overall leaders. We’d much rather have you than your money!
When you sign up (to book click the link on the left of the page) we’ll ask you to pay a deposit, and then we’ll be in touch again in June to ask for the remainder.
Please see Covid-19 terms and conditions for more information.
Lots of people are unsure about coming on camp for the first time; the vast majority have a cracking time and can’t wait to come back the next year.
Foremarke 3 aims to offer something for everyone, and the teenagers who come are a real mixture; guys and girls, adventurous and not-so-adventurous, chatty and chilled! There’s a lot of variety in the activities in the morning and afternoons, and there’s always someone to chat to, play a game with, or listen to music with.
The helper team is a team of 15-20 people aged 18-25ish, who come on camp to serve by doing the jobs that keep the show on the road, to grow through their own Bible-teaching programme, and to laugh as they have a great time getting to know each other, doing activities, helping with evening entz, and much more.
Being a helper is hard work! But it’s also really great fun. Anyone of the right age can be a helper (you don’t need to be a Christian), and many people make lifelong friendships on the helper team and look back on it as some of their best years on camp.
If you’d like more information, please email the overall leaders.
No. There’s a wide range of activities, and no-one will force you to do anything you don’t want to do. There are a range of options to choose from each day, and we ask you to put down your top three choices. At least once in the week (and usually more), you’ll get your top choice; and you’ll never have to do something you didn’t put down.
Of course you can! Camp each year is a mixture of people who are committed Christians, people who know something about who Jesus is and are thinking about what it means for them, and people who’ve never thought about him before. There’s no expectation that you’ll know anything at all about Christianity. All we ask is that you are willing to think for yourself about the claims of Jesus, and turn up to the Focus meetings and small group Bible sessions.
Each year some brave people come on their own! Obviously that can be quite nerve-racking for the first half-hour or so, and that’s why we run a ‘Welcome programme’, where you’ll quickly meet some of the other teenagers, play some games, and begin to get to know people.
On the first afternoon you’ll meet the other members of your ‘dorm’, or small group. These will all be people of you sex and roughly the same age, and people rapidly find that they become friends with at least a couple of other people in their dorm. Most people who were worried about being on the venture on Day One by Day Two have got stuck in, found some mates, and can’t believe they ever thought about not coming!
We can’t answer all the questions parents may want to ask on this website! So get them to contact one of the overall leaders of Foremarke 3.
